Another one for the Congressional Record

It isn’t even S&T’s 150th birthday yet, but the recognition keeps coming. Earlier this week, the eConnection reported that U.S. Sen. Roy Blunt entered a statement into the Congressional Record congratulating S&T on its 150th anniversary. U.S. Sen. Josh Hawley entered a similar statement of recognition on Feb. 3 and issued a press release that was published in The Rolla Daily News.

“Suit Up” sale planned Feb. 9

Missouri S&T is partnering with JCPenney to help provide professional attire to S&T students at a discounted price. Students can save up to 60 percent on select dress apparel, shoes and accessories during the Suit-Up Event 6:30-9:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 9, at the JCPenney Store in Rolla. S&T student IDs are required for the discount. Missouri S&T’s Spring Career Fair will be held Tuesday, Feb. 18, on campus.

O say can you see … that flag says S&T

Missouri S&T got media exposure during the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl LIV victory celebration Wednesday in Kansas City. Some Chief fan (or fans) flew the team’s flag high during the event outside of Kansas City’s Union Station. And right below that flag was S&T’s. We’d like to find out who waved the flag so we properly recognize you with even more S&T stuff. So, if you were the one, please contact marketing@mst.edu with some sort of proof (such as a selfie of you at the event with the S&T flag) so that you can be properly recognized.
