Proposals are being accepted for the 2020-21 cycle of S&T’s educational research min-grant program sponsored by the Center for Advancing Faculty Excellence (CAFE). Full-time faculty, full-time staff and department chairs who have teaching duties may apply for $500 to $2,500 for an individual project or up to $4,500 for an interdisciplinary team project. A letter of intent is due Friday, April 10, and full proposals are due Friday, June 5. Get details online.
Established in 2011, the program promotes the scholarship of teaching and learning through funding projects that systematically examine pedagogical practices. The program helps instructors tackle a teaching and learning issue in which a specific, measurable research question is examined to bring about improved student learning, retention or academic success for all students.
