Updated: Missouri S&T building access changes (effective March 20)
Beginning Friday, March 20, the exterior doors to buildings listed below will be accessible to students, faculty and staff with a valid university ID card during the hours shown below until further notice. We are taking these steps to ensure the continued safety and security of individuals who remain on campus and in our buildings. The exterior doors to these buildings will be locked during these hours, but fully accessible to students, faculty and staff with a valid campus ID. Those who had access outside of these hours prior to today will continue to have access.

To support employees of Missouri S&T and the other University of Missouri System universities, UM System President Choi has authorized some measures to temporarily enhance leave policies for those unable to work through telework options. UM System also encourages supervisors to review operations and identify employees who can perform their duties through telework arrangements.

COVID-19: S&T offers small business help, support
The Missouri S&T Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is part of the Missouri SBDC network and is partners with U.S. Small Business Administration. They are working together to provide help and support to small businesses impacted by COVID-19.

COVID-19: Writing Center goes online
The Writing Center has moved its operations online. To ensure that our students can continue to receive help on any document, at any stage of the writing process, the center now offers virtual consultations.

The Learning Enhancement Across Disciplines (LEAD) program will transition to provide free online tutoring via Zoom in over 70 courses, including all the introductory courses in math, chemistry, physics and computer science.

With the transition to online learning, some students will lose access to course materials that they previously shared with classmates or instructors, or accessed via the library. To support these students, the S&T Store is working with VitalSource, a digital course materials provider, and publishers to launch VitalSource Helps, a program that provides access to ebooks to all Missouri S&T students through Monday, May 25.
