Throughout a 34-year partnership, the University of Missouri South African Education Program (UMSAEP) has supported hundreds of faculty exchanges between the University of the Western Cape (South Africa) and all four UM System universities. The call for proposals is now open. Proposals should be submitted to Dr. Jeanie Hofer at jeanie@mst.edu by 5 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 15.

Learn more about the program during a virtual symposium at noon Friday, May 1, via Zoom.

The symposium will feature Umesh Bawa, international relations director at the University of the Western Cape and Rod Uphoff, professor of law at MU and director of UMSAEP. They will describe the program and application process. In addition, one speaker from each campus will talk about their experiences.
