Army Band to join S&T bands for free concert Feb. 27
Members of the 399th Army Band from Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, directed by Warrant Officer Brian Dorgan, will join S&T’s symphonic band and wind symphony, directed by Dr. David Samson, assistant professor of music, for a free concert at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb 27, in Leach Theatre.
Read More »French speaker series to feature Emmanuel Djegou March 3
Emmanuel Djegou, a native of Benin, a West African nation, and a candidate for a Ph.D. in statistics at S&T, will speak about the town of Ganvié at 6 p.m. Thursday, March 3. Djegou will speak about Ganvié, which is built entirely on stilts in Lake Nokoué and known to many as the Venice of West Africa. His lecture will be in French.

Registration is now open for CAFE’s free innovation in teaching and learning conference 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Thursday, March 17, on the first floor of Butler-Carlton Civil Engineering Hall. The conference will be fully blended, with all sessions available for in-person and online attendees. Recordings will be available after the conference.
