First Communities of Practice session scheduled Thursday
The Center for Advancing Faculty Excellence reminds you that the first Teaching with Kern Entrepreneurial Engineering Network (KEEN) Community of Practice session is planned 2-3 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 26, in the Faculty Innovation Studio, located in Room G-11 in the Curtis Laws Wilson Library.

Nuclear engineering and radiation science will host John Wagner, director of Idaho National Laboratory, for a talk at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 25, in Room B10 of Bertelsmeyer Hall. Wagner earned a bachelor’s degree in nuclear engineering from Missouri S&T in 1992 and received the doctor of engineering, honoris causa, in 2022.

Dr. Karen Wooley, W. T. Doherty-Welch Chair in Chemistry and University Distinguished Professor at Texas A&M University, will deliver the ninth annual Stoffer Lecture at 4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 25, in Room G3 of Schrenk Hall. Her talk is titled, “Grand Challenges in Polymer Science and Soft Matter: Wooley’s Emphasis on Strategies to Afford Natural Product-based Polymer Materials with Consideration of the End Game.”
