Nominations are now being accepted for the Governor’s Award for Excellence in Teaching. All full-time faculty who have been teaching at S&T for at least five years are eligible. Nomination deadline is Monday, March 10.

The Governor’s Award for Excellence in Teaching is presented annually to an outstanding faculty member from each University of Missouri System institution. Nominees must demonstrate effective teaching, commitment to high standards of excellence, sustained success in nurturing student achievement, and significant innovation as an educator. UM System President Mun Choi will recognize the four award recipients at the June Board of Curators meeting, and the S&T winner will also be recognized at the annual campus faculty awards luncheon in December.

Please direct any questions to Dr. Kate Drowne, assistant provost for faculty affairs.
