Activities, training and events will center around building resilience, discovering and honing your strengths, and learning fun ways to practice mindfulness (such as yoga and petting dogs). Most events are open to students and employees.
Monday, Feb. 10
Mining for success

- Set your goals and unleash your future with vision board-making. Join for an inspiring session designed to help you visualize your path to success this semester.
Fall in love with your work style and discover your leadership strengths
- 2-3 p.m. in Room 203 Curtis Laws Wilson Library
- Ever wonder what your leadership style says about you? Get a quick intro to DiSC, explore your strengths, and gain insights into how you work best with others.
Tuesday, Feb. 11
We care about you a latte
- 9:30-11 a.m. in Room 196 Toomey Hall
- Grab a free cup of coffee and connect with students, staff and faculty in a warm and welcoming space. A little caffeine and community go a long way.
It’s real: College students and mental health
- 11 a.m.-noon for employees and noon-1 p.m. for students in the Innovation Lab Forum
- Join an open discussion on mental health and suicide, featuring real student stories and a supportive space for conversation. Free waffles will be provided courtesy of ASUM.
Financial peace of mind: A student’s guide to smart investing
- 1-2 p.m. in Room 203 Curtis Laws Wilson Library
- Take control of your financial future. Learn practical strategies for saving, investing and reducing financial stress while you’re still in college.
Wednesday, Feb. 12
Resilient flow: Strengthening body and mind through yoga
- 9-10 a.m. in the Aerobics Room of the Gale Bullman Building
- Breathe, stretch and reset with a refreshing yoga session led by Kayla. Build resilience in both body and mind.
Dog days
- 11 a.m.-1 p.m. outside of the Library
- Need a study break? Come pet some adorable dogs, courtesy of Delta Sig, and enjoy an instant mood boost.
Well-being ambassador training
- Noon-2 p.m. in Room 315 Butler-Carlton Civil Engineering Hall
- Want to support your friends and peers? Join this interactive training to learn how to promote mental well-being and be a resource for others. Snacks provided.
- If you are attending this training, you may choose to complete the online portion of the training at Ask.Listen.Refer.
- Content Warning: Please be aware that this online training is regarding suicide prevention. It takes about 20 minutes to complete and provides you with a certificate of completion at the end. Please print out the certificate or save it on your phone and bring it to the training. If you are unable to take it before the training, there will be time during the event to do so.
Family night
