Dr. Kathleen Sheppard has been named Missouri S&T’s first Christensen Fellow of history and political science. The fellowship provides funding for faculty to travel to find and study original source materials to support their research.

Steel bridge team faces strong competition at nationals
The Missouri S&T Steel Bridge Team competed in nationals in June. Entries from university teams across the country were judged on construction speed, lightness, aesthetics, economy and efficiency.

Robotics team wins second place at first competition
Missouri S&T’s newest student design team earned second place at BotsKC, a robotic fighting competition held in April in Pleasant Valley, Missouri. The Combat Robotics Design Team, formed in spring 2020, joined the contest with its first robot build.
