Locmelis to lead international geology committee

Dr. Marek Locmelis, assistant professor of geology and geophysics, has been appointed committee chair for the Society of Economic Geologists (SEG) Graduate Student Fellowship (GSF) program.
The international scholarship program is supported by the mining industry and designed for graduate students conducting research in ore deposit or economic geology.
