DesignCon award goes to electrical engineering researchers

Dr. DongHyun Kim, assistant professor of electrical and computer engineering, along with graduate students Zhekun Peng and Wei Zhang, won the Early-Career Best Paper Award at DesignCon 2021 in December. The paper is titled “Analysis of Electro-Static Discharge to Through-Silicon Via.”
DesignCon is an international conference for chip, board and systems designers in high-speed communications and semiconductor fields. It introduced the Best Early Career Paper Award in 2020 to recognize excellence in technical papers. To qualify for the award, the lead author can have a maximum of seven years of professional experience.
