Medvedeva co-authors paper for special issue

Dr. Julia Medvedeva, professor of physics, co-authored a paper titled “Thermal stability of amorphous metal oxides: The interplay of secondary cations, degree of substitution and local structure.” The paper was published as an invited article in a special issue of Chemistry of Materials on the occasion of Professor C.N.R. Viganò awarded grant to study turbulence at hypersonic speeds

Dr. Davide Viganò, an assistant professor of aerospace engineering, has been awarded $200,000 from the National Science Foundation to study how turbulence behaves at high speeds and how it could be used to make hypersonic vehicles more effective.
