S&T’s American Nuclear Society student group honored

For the second year in a row, Missouri S&T’s student section of the American Nuclear Society (ANS) has been recognized as the winner of the national organization’s Samuel J. Glasstone award.
According to the ANS website, this award is presented annually to the student section that “accomplished the most notable achievements in public service and the advancement of nuclear engineering.”
For 2024, Missouri S&T tied for the first-place accolades with Penn State University.
