Annual enrollment began Oct. 17 for benefit-eligible faculty and staff and will end Friday, Oct. 28. Enroll now through myHR. If you do not enroll — even if you wish to waive coverage — you will default to the Healthy Savings Plan, pay taxes on your monthly premiums, and will not receive the tobacco-free discount.

Campus reminder: Unauthorized weapons not allowed on campus

University Police reminds the campus community that no unauthorized weapons of any kind, including guns, are allowed in campus-owned buildings or parking lots. These restrictions are consistent with University of Missouri System regulations as well as with recent gun legislation (Senate Bill 656), which leaves in place the current state law prohibiting concealed firearms from being carried into any higher education institution without the consent of its governing body. University-affiliated clubs and organizations that have received permission to possess items such as guns, bows and arrows, or fireworks, may continue to do so. Parking lot to close Saturday for fireworks

The parking lot next to the Engineering Research Laboratory, Area M Lot 36, will be closed until 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, for a fireworks display during the Diwali Celebration of Lights. The lot needs to be empty by 5 p.m.; any unauthorized vehicles in the lot at this time will be towed.
