Usher at commencement, get comp time
The commencement committee seeks volunteers to usher during commencement Saturday, Dec. 15, at Gale Bullman Building. Volunteers will receive compensatory time or be paid for the hours worked, per their department policy. The commencement usher chair will arrange these details with each department. Deadline is today for business contest, chance to get $30,000
Missouri S&T students with entrepreneurial visions can advance their ideas and win prize money by participating in the Entrepreneur Quest (EQ) Student Accelerator, a new University of Missouri System program. Diwali celebration to feature fireworks, parking lot to temporarily close
The India Association at Missouri S&T will host the 2018 Diwali Festival of Lights event Sunday, Oct. 28. The celebration will begin with a cultural show featuring dance and musical performances by S&T students at 4 p.m. in Leach Theatre. Following the performances, a fireworks display and Indian dinner will take place at the Havener Center at 6:15 p.m. To allow for the fireworks, parking lot M-36, located near McNutt Hall, will be closed Sunday, Oct. 28.
