As an invited scholar, Dr. Kathleen Sheppard spoke on Nov. 27 at the Colorado School of Mines in Golden, Colorado, on the conflict surrounding the 1922 discovery of King Tutankhamun’s tomb in Egypt’s Valley of the Kings. Sheppard is an associate professor of history and political science.
