ISC poster presentation winners announced

Twenty-six graduate students participated in the 14th annual Intelligent Systems Center poster presentation on Nov. 13 in the Havener Center. The event gave students the opportunity to present research results.
The winners and the names of their posters are:
- First place: Krishnan Raghavan, “A Minimax Approach for Classification with Big-Data”
- Second place: Yingqi Li, for the poster “Additive Manufacturing of Metallic Glass by Laser Foil Printing”
- Third place: Md Moniruzzaman, for poster “Human Action Recognition by Discriminative Feature Pooling and Video Segment Attention Model.”
Each student will be presented an award from the ISC Director, Dr. Ming Leu, and Symposium Chair Frank Liou. Student advisors are Drs. Jagannathan Sarangapani, Ming Leu, and Zhaozheng Yin and Ruwen Qin.
