Dr. Shamsher Prakash, professor emeritus in civil, architectural and environmental engineering, will be recognized at a luncheon to be held during the seventh International Conference on Case Histories in Geotechnical Engineering in Chicago, on May 4. Prakash is being honored for his work and dedication to the geotechnical profession.

The Missouri S&T University and Chamber choirs will perform at 7:30 p.m. today, April 29, in Leach Theatre of Castleman Hall. The concert will have two portions. The first is comprised of standard choral literature, and the second is styled like a show choir performance.
