Chartwells Catering announces the appointment of Lydia Sumner as catering director at Missouri S&T. She comes to Missouri S&T after serving as marketing director and retail director at Southeast Missouri State University.

The campus community is invited to attend open forums for two candidates for the position of director of the Curtis Laws Wilson Library. Open forums will be held for each candidate in the Havener Center as listed below:

Phyllis Ann McCoy, former director of human resource services at Missouri S&T, died Saturday, April 27. Visitation will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 5, and a Hawaiian-themed memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, May 5, both at Hutson Funeral Home, 601 W. Main St., in Steelville, Mo.
