Power outage planned May 19

A planned power outage in support of the Applied Research Center project will affect Curtis Laws Wilson Library, Computer Science Building and Straumanis‑James Hall 6 a.m.-6 p.m. Tuesday, May 19.
Occupants should be notified in advance and must prepare sensitive equipment, including electron microscopes, before the outage. All computers and sensitive equipment must be shut down by the end of the workday Monday, May 18.
Buildings will be locked and inaccessible during the outage. There will be no power, network access or card access. Meetings and events scheduled in these buildings should be relocated.
