IT to install new application for Windows OS administration

In an effort to simplify installing software, IT will distribute a new application to S&T managed systems. The installation of the new application, ThreatLocker, is the first step to enhance the local administrative access process on S&T managed Windows computers. This application will be installed on campus computers over the weekend, Saturday, May 2, and Sunday, May 3. Future enhancements will allow one-click access to proceed with self-installed applications.
What is changing?
A new icon for ThreatLocker will be accessible in the Windows notification area of the desktop.
Who is affected?
Users of IT managed Windows computers.
As IT continues to enhance the local administrative access, additional information will be made available to the campus community.
