Over the summer, Dr. Martin Bohner, Curator’s Professor of mathematics and statistics, spoke at three international events. He was an invited speaker at the 2023 Numerical Computations: Theory and Algorithms conference on Sunday, June 16, in Calabria, Italy. The title of his talk was “Multiplicity Results for Discrete Fractional Boundary Value Problems involving p-Laplacian Operator.”
At the 2023 International Matematical Conference, Analysis, Approximation, Applications, he presented an invited lecture, titled “The Beverton-Holt Equation,” in Vrnjačka Banja, Serbia.
Bohner also gave a keynote speech at the 2023 International Symposium and International Student Workshop on Interdisciplinary Mathematics in Bucharest, Romania. His speech was titled “The Beverton-Holt Equation.”
Bohner was also elected to the Board of Directors of International Society of Difference Equations. His term began Aug. 1.
