Register for Building Blocks of Course Design

The Center for Advancing Faculty Excellence (CAFE) will offer two sessions of Building Blocks of Course Design this summer. Faculty and instructors interested in participating only need to register for one session. Both sessions will be available in person and online.
Session options:
Session 1: Tuesday, July 21, through Thursday, July 23, virtual only
- 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Tuesday, July 21, and Wednesday, July 22
- 9 a.m.-noon Thursday, July 23
Session 2: Tuesday, Aug. 11, through Thursday, Aug. 13, in-person and virtual options.
- 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 11, and Wednesday, Aug. 12
- 9 a.m.-noon Thursday, Aug. 13
During the training, participants will begin developing course materials aligned with the Five Pillars Course Design rubric, which is based on the nationally recognized Quality Matters rubric for effective course design.
