Look to the skies tonight for fireworks, Saturn

Turn your eyes upward for two separate S&T events tonight (Monday, Sept. 17). First, watch fireworks at 8 p.m. from Havener Center’s lawn as part of the Research and Technology Development conference block party. Next, check out Saturn during an observatory open house at 9 p.m. To allow for the fireworks, parking lot M-36, located near McNutt Hall, will close at 3 p.m. today. All vehicles must be moved out of the lot by 5 p.m.

See Saturn at observatory event

The Missouri S&T Observatory will open its doors at 9 p.m. Monday, Sept. 17, for viewing Saturn and its rings. The observatory is located at 1550 N. Bishop Ave., next to S&T’s Stonehenge replica.
