The search for Missouri S&T’s provost has successfully reached the finalists stage, and S&T will host the candidates on campus. The four finalists will make presentations to the campus community during open forums via Zoom starting Monday, Oct. 19.

Open forums for Missouri S&T’s three chief information officer finalists will continue to be held this week. Instead of the in-person forums previously scheduled, however, the meetings will be held via Zoom at the following times:
- 10:30 a.m. Monday, March 16, via Zoom
- 1 p.m. Monday, March 16, via Zoom
- 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 17, via Zoom
Open forums for data management leader start today
The campus community is invited to attend open forums and provide feedback on candidates for Missouri S&T’s senior director of institutional research and data management. Forums will be held:
- 1:30-2:30 p.m. today (Monday, Feb. 10) in the Turner Room of the Havener Center
- 1:30-2:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 14, in the Ozark Room of the Havener Center
HLC accreditation visit planned Oct. 8-9, forums scheduled
A team of peer reviewers representing the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) will be on campus Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 8 and 9, as part of the accreditation process for Missouri S&T, and several forums will be held on Monday, Oct. 8, to help the reviewers assess whether S&T meets HLC’s criteria for accreditation. The forum topics, times and locations are as follows:

Faculty, staff and students are invited to an open forum to explore ideas for S&T to respond to the announcement from the UM System regarding $260 million in matching funds for strategic compacts. Two sessions are scheduled on Tuesday, Oct. 2, in Leach Theatre: 10:30-11:30 a.m. and 1-2 p.m.

Missouri S&T will undergo a comprehensive evaluation visit with the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) in October. Now is the time to provide feedback on materials created for the evaluation. You may also learn about the accreditation process and provide feedback at open forums. The open forums were previously announced and the times have been changed. The forums will be held:
- 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 13, in St. Pat’s Ballroom of the Havener Center
- 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 14, in St. Pat’s Ballroom of the Havener Center
- 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 15, in St. Pat’s Ballroom of the Havener Center
