Get your flu shot Oct. 5

A flu shot clinic will be held 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 5, in the Meramec Room of the Havener Center. This clinic is available for faculty, staff and dependents (children ages 7 years and older accompanied by a parent or guardian) enrolled in a university medical insurance plan.

Power outage planned Thursday, Oct. 5

As part of the construction of S&T’s substation, a power outage is scheduled to begin at 6 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 5. The outage is expected to last up to four hours and affects Norwood Hall, Castleman Hall and Centennial Hall.

S&T to test emergency alert system Oct. 5

Missouri S&T will conduct a test of its emergency mass notification system at noon Wednesday, Oct. 5. The test will include a text message to students and employees that reads, “This is a test of the Missouri S&T emergency mass notification system. This is only a test.”
