Power outage planned Thursday, Oct. 5

As part of the construction of S&T’s substation, a power outage is scheduled to begin at 6:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 5. The outage is expected to last up to four hours and affects Norwood Hall, Castleman Hall and Centennial Hall. As a safety precaution, do not enter these buildings during the outage.
The following buildings will experience a short 5-15 minute power outage sometime between 8 a.m. and noon on Thursday, Oct. 5:
- Chancellor’s Residence
- Computer Science Building
- Curtis Laws Wilson Library
- Harris Hall
- Humanities and Social Sciences Building
- Rolla Building
- Schrenk Hall
- Toomey Hall
To limit disruption to classes and activities, the outage is planned during Fall Break, which is Thursday, Oct. 5, and Friday, Oct. 6.
