Peru trip open to graduate students

Graduate students can earn three credit hours in Peru during spring break. Dr. Neil Anderson will lead the course, “GEO ENG 6407: Inca Civilization Geotechnical Engineering Practices,” March 22-April 1, 2019. Students must register for GE 6407 by Friday, Dec. 7, to allow for travel arrangements.

  • England, May 19-June 6, History 3530: History of Science, led by Dr. Kathleen Sheppard, associate professor of history and political science
  • Italy, June 10-26, Psych 4992: Cross-cultural Psychology, led by Dr. Jessica Cundiff, assistant professor of psychological science, and Dr. Jillian Schmidt, assistant teaching professor of mechanical and aerospace engineering

41 S&T faculty members honored for outstanding teaching

Forty-one faculty members have received the Outstanding Teaching Award for 2016-17. The winners were recognized at a ceremony in November. The Outstanding Teaching Award is given each year to faculty members by the Outstanding Teaching Award committee, which bases its selections on student evaluations.
