Graduate students can earn three credit hours in Peru during spring break. Dr. Neil Anderson will lead the course, “GEO ENG 6407: Inca Civilization Geotechnical Engineering Practices,” March 22-April 1, 2019. Students must register for GE 6407 by Friday, Dec. 7, to allow for travel arrangements.
Students will focus on geological engineering and the interrelationships between geology, climate, archeology and history. Participants will visit Lima, Cuzco and the fabled mountain-top Inca city of Machu Picchu, with daily field trips to the Cuzco-Machu Picchu corridor. Get more information at pce.mst.edu/credit/geperu.
