Seminar set on international experiential learning

The campus community is invited to a seminar on international experiential learning noon-1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 7, in Room 106 Engineering Management Building. The featured speaker is Dr. Audra Merfeld-Langston, associate professor and chair of arts, languages and philosophy. This seminar is part of a series for the project “Cultural Bridges: The Humanities and Engineering in Latin America,” which is supported by a grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities.

NEH grant builds bridge between humanities, engineering

Thanks to a new grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities, Missouri S&T students will explore the cultures of Latin American countries they visit and earn course credit. The $100,000 NEH Humanities Connection grant will allow faculty to create four courses related to Latin American studies:
