Research faculty — federal shutdown includes research agencies

Parts of the United States government shut down Saturday, Dec. 22. During the government shutdown, normal activities related to grant and contract administration have been interrupted. Agency contingency plans are currently posted on the White House website. The page will be updated as more plans become available.
S&T faculty who receive any shutdown-related correspondence directly from the sponsor (e.g., stop-work orders) should provide the information to the office of sponsored programs (OSPA) immediately at um-research@umsystem.edu.
