CASE wins door decoration contest
The dean’s office for the College of Arts, Sciences, and Education earned first place in the annual St. Pat’s door decorating contest for its design in the multiple-occupant door category. Megan Fowler, business operations associate, Cassie Liscombe, senior business support specialist, and Jackie Sansone, fiscal manager, conceptualized the design and created the artwork.

Missouri S&T recently established the office of institutional effectiveness to manage strategic analytics and organizational tactics focused on achieving the university’s North Star Goals. The office includes institutional research and data management, which will continue to serve as the source of official data for the university, as it has since it was reestablished in 2020.

Dr. R. Wayne Jones has been named Missouri S&T’s senior director of institutional research and data management. He previously served as director of strategic information and effectiveness at the University of Arkansas.

The new email address is for queries previously sent to the office of institutional research and assessment (IRA). The office is closing July 2 as part of the university’s budget reduction and reinvestment plan.

Dr. Oyebanjo Lajubutu, assistant vice provost for institutional research and assessment, presented a professional development workshop at the 2016 forum of the Mid-America Association for Institutional Research held Nov. 9-11 in Kansas City, Missouri. The title of the workshop was “Leveraging Embedded Analytics to Leap from ‘Good to Great’ Institutional Research Reporting.”
