Missouri S&T’s COVID-19 safety guidelines allow for events on campus as long as they are limited to no more than 10 individuals and all participants maintain a physical distance of six feet or more and wear appropriate facial coverings as much as possible during the event. In keeping with best practices during the pandemic, you should plan to hold virtual events for groups larger than 10.
However, students, faculty and staff may host events for larger groups if approved by the university’s COVID-19 Incident Command Team leaders. As Missouri S&T moves forward with its plan to hold classes on campus in the fall, many of the staff and faculty who have been working remotely will begin returning to campus in the coming weeks. Missouri S&T leaders are preparing in the event of a coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. Currently there are no confirmed cases of COVID-19 connected to Missouri S&T. An incident command team is leading planning to respond to a potential COVID-19 outbreak to Missouri S&T and to assure continuity of operations. View this organizational chart of the team.
