Learn about the building blocks for course success
All faculty and staff instructors are invited to the workshop, “Building Blocks: Structuring Your Course for Success.” There will be two offerings, both with the same content:
- 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 9, in Room 202 of the Curtis Laws Wilson Library
- 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 11, in Room 203 of the Curtis Laws Wilson Library
Faculty workshop planned on promotion, tenure
All early career tenure-track and non-tenure-track faculty are invited to a workshop titled “Walking Through Promotion and Tenure at Missouri S&T” 10 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 20, in the Carver-Turner Room of the Havener Center. Lunch will be provided.

Student diversity initiatives seeks faculty and staff mentors for the Trailblazers program for first-generation students. Mentors should be passionate about supporting undergraduate first-generation students and willing to devote time to meet with mentees monthly to form a mentoring relationship.

26SharesTwenty-three faculty members received a faculty achievement, research, service or teaching award. Each award winner received a $1,000 stipend funded by industry and alumni contributions during a Feb. 23 ceremony on campus.
