All faculty and staff instructors are invited to the workshop, “Building Blocks: Structuring Your Course for Success.” There will be two offerings, both with the same content:

  • 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 9, in Room 202 of the Curtis Laws Wilson Library
  • 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 11, in Room 203 of the Curtis Laws Wilson Library

The Educational Technology staff facilitates this intensive, five-hour workshop. Please bring your course materials, such as textbooks, syllabi, digital files and a laptop, if possible. After completing the workshop, you will have a revised course description, written course goals and learning objectives, and a plan for aligning assessments with goals and objectives. Join the session on Jan. 11 to learn about learning styles from Dr. Merilee Krueger, associate teaching professor of psychological science.

Lunch and snacks will be provided. Each workshop will be limited to 15 participants. Click here to RSVP. For more information, please contact Julie Phelps, instructional design team lead, at phelpsja@mst.edu.
