The National Center for Faculty Development and Diversity (NCFDD) offers services for faculty, including motivational emails, a core curriculum addressing skills for academics, a dissertation success curriculum, webinars, courses, writing challenges, access to the center’s library, discussion forums, and monthly accountability and buddy matching.

CERTI merges into CAFE, provides faculty one stop for professional development

The Center for Educational Research and Teaching Innovation (CERTI) has merged into The Center for Advancing Faculty Excellence (CAFE). The merger became effective June 30. This merger was made possible by Provost Robert Marley to provide high quality faculty professional development in teaching and research and service.

Introducing CAFE

The Center for Advancing Faculty Excellence (CAFE) is a new resource at Missouri S&T designed to promote the success of S&T faculty as teaching-scholars throughout all stages of their career. Led by Dr. Larry Gragg, chair, and Dr. Wayne Huebner, co-chair, CAFE was developed in Spring 2017 by the provost’s office, in conjunction with a campus steering committee.
