Faculty discussion around table

The Center for Advancing Faculty Excellence (CAFE) invites you to a presentation about the results of a year-long gap analysis of faculty professional development at Missouri S&T. The presentation will be held noon-1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 14. Lunch will be provided. Please register online.

During the fall of 2017 and spring of 2018, Dr. Larry Gragg, founding chair of CAFE, conducted over 80 interviews to determine the strengths and areas of improvement for faculty development at S&T. He conducted 31 interviews of individuals who assess faculty performance, and the remaining interviews were with faculty of all ranks. The findings are summarized in a report that will be released to campus soon.

Join CAFE on Sept. 14 to learn about the five recommendations and the steps CAFE is taking to improve support for all S&T faculty. Register online.

For more information, please contact Abby Bigg, CAFE coordinator, at bigga@mst.edu or by calling 341-7648.
