COVID-19: Residence hall students to move into University Commons apartments

With fewer than 200 students currently living in the residence halls on S&T’s campus, the remaining Thomas Jefferson and Residential Commons students will move into University Commons apartments with private bedrooms and private bathrooms. Following the move, each student resident will have a private bedroom, a private bathroom, and will share a full kitchen with one other student in the apartment.

COVID-19: Coronavirus-positive patient quarantines in Phelps County

Although the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) continues to report no positive cases of COVID-19 in Phelps County, the Phelps-Maries County Health Department has confirmed its staff is monitoring an individual in Phelps County who tested positive for COVID-19. The individual does not reside in Phelps County, but has family that does. Both the individual and the family are quarantined at the family’s home in Rolla.

If you are concerned about a student for any reason, please contact Missouri S&T’s UCARE team at ucare@mst.edu. Additionally, Missouri S&T’s Student Emergency Fund helps students with critical, basic needs achieve their educational goals.
