COVID-19: GLVC cancels remainder of 2020 athletics season

The Great Lakes Valley Conference’s (GLVC) Council of Presidents voted unanimously on March 20 to cancel the remainder of the 2020 athletics season due to concerns of the global coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
The GLVC announced on March 13 that in addition to cancelling the remaining 2020 GLVC Championships, the conference was suspending all countable activities related to intercollegiate athletics. The GLVC had set April 6 as a date to review the status of the league suspension of all countable athletically-related activities, including competition and practices, but no longer felt formal activities could resume on member campuses in light of recent developments in this public health crisis.
