Three former U.S. Bureau of Mines (BOM) buildings on campus are scheduled for demolition beginning in June as part of the university’s plans to develop a new entry to campus and new facilities for students. Missouri S&T is gathering public comments and will hold an open forum at 4 p.m. today (Thursday, Feb. 18) via Zoom on university plans to demolish three buildings known as the Bureau of Mines (BOM) buildings 1, 2 and 3 on the Rolla campus. The public comment period began on Jan. 25 and will close on Wednesday, Feb. 24.
