Theatre program earns KCACTF awards

The Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival (KCACTF) has bestowed awards of excellence to Jeanne Stanley, associate professor of theatre, for directing; Arden Hawley, a junior in information science and technology, for stage management; and the cast of “Good Kids” for excellence in ensemble acting. Missouri S&T’s Miner League Theatre Players performed “Good Kids” in late October and early November.

Tohline produces film on storytelling through editing

Max Tohline, assistant professor of arts, languages, and philosophy, has produced a video essay titled “Editing as Punctuation in Film.” The video has been published on the website No Film School. The website describes itself as “the leading worldwide community of filmmakers, video producers and independent creatives.”
