Read More »Visitors coming to campus for space consortium, discover day, tech conference
Hundreds of visitors are expected on campus in the coming days for the following events:
- The 27th annual spring meeting of the NASA-Missouri Space Grant Consortium will be held in the Havener Center on Friday, April 20, and Saturday, April 21. Attendees on both days will park in Lot H, located at University Drive and Highway 63, or Lot C-48, located at the corner of 11th and Bishop streets.
- Prospective students and families will explore S&T during a Discover Day, hosted by the office of admissions.
- Approximately 650 students will participate in the Missouri Technology Student Association (TSA) State Conference from Sunday, April 22, to Tuesday, April 24. Most activities will be held at the Havener Center and the Student Recreation Center.
Team up for trivia, raise money for Miner Challenge
Do you know the cause of Boston’s great flood of 1919? Do you know the punchline to “Knock knock?” Student Life invites you to join a team and take on Miner Challenge Trivia at 6 p.m. Saturday, April 21, in St. Pat’s C of the Havener Center. The entry fee is $100 for pre-registration by Tuesday, April 17, and $120 after April 17. To pre-register, please visit minerchallenge.mst.edu.
