Chili, chips and cheese fundraiser this weekend

Lambda Sigma Pi will host its 28th annual all-you-can-eat chili, chips and cheese dinner 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 14, at Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity, 1705 N. Pine St. in Rolla. A drive thru will be open 11 a.m.-6 p.m. You may also contact Laura Monks at 417-217-6383 for delivery, which will be available 11 a.m.-5 p.m.

S&T’s ANS chapter hosts lasagna night Saturday

S&T’s chapter of the American Nuclear Society is hosting a fundraiser 5-7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 13, at St. Patrick’s Parish Dining Hall, 17 St. Patrick’s Ln. in Rolla. Each meal includes lasagna, salad and cake and costs $8 per person. Email any questions to John Lankford at jdlfg7@umystem.edu.

Students, faculty, staff could be eligible for COVID-19 vaccine booster

According to the CDC’s guidelines for COVID-19 vaccine booster shots, individuals age 18 and older who received a Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine should receive a booster shot at least two months after receiving their primary vaccine dose.  The guidelines also state that individuals who work in education may get a booster shot six months or more after completing the two-dose series of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine.
