Patent granted for 3D-printed materials research

A U.S. patent for “3D-Printed Zeolite Monoliths for CO2 Removal” has been awarded to the Curators of the University of Missouri from Missouri S&T inventors:

  • Dr. Fateme Rezaei, associate professor of chemical engineering
  • Dr. Harshul Thakkar, a 2018 Missouri S&T chemical engineering graduate

This patent and a previous patent awarded last February are related technologies developed for designing, processing and shape engineering of nanoporous materials through additive manufacturing for energy-intensive separation and fine chemical production applications.
