S&T students win award at DataFest

On April 8-9, an interdisciplinary team of undergraduate students from mathematics and statistics and computer science participated in an American Statistical Association DataFest 2022 event, held at the University of Missouri-Columbia. At this event, student teams worked over the weekend to analyze a challenging dataset and share their discoveries with the data donor. Students from Missouri S&T, participating under the name “Student’s T-eam”, won the award of “Best Use of Statistical Analysis.”
