Donations for Afghan families to be collected through Dec. 10

The Audie Murphy Club, based at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, is collecting donations to support Afghan refugees who have relocated to the U.S. High-priority items include shoes, jackets and blankets. Toys and diapers are also welcome. Drop off items 8 a.m.-4 p.m., today through Friday, Dec. 10, at the first-floor north entrance to Harris Hall.

Dinner and discussion on tribal issues and inclusive language Nov. 16

Dinner begins at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 16, at student diversity outreach and women’s programs located at 605 W. 11th St.

S&T’s Army ROTC team headed to national skills competition

Congratulations to Missouri S&T’s Army ROTC Ranger Challenge team, which placed second in the regional round of what’s considered the varsity sport of Army ROTC. In this round the team demonstrated skills in rifle usage, land navigation, emergency medical treatment, knot tying and employing radio calls for artillery.

Both positions start at $10.30 per hour, 4-8 hours a week, and pay increases the longer you’re at the Student Success Center.
