University Police honored by Rolla Optimist Club

Missouri S&T University Police received the Bramlett-Light Award during the Rolla Optimist Club’s Respect the Law banquet on Wednesday, May 11.

The award was given in recognition of the extraordinary assistance provided to the Rolla Police Department during the COVID pandemic. Doug Roberts, chief of University Police, accepted the award on behalf of the University Police department which was the only law enforcement agency recognized by the Rolla Optimist Club this year.
