Cause of minor fire determined

Missouri S&T University Police and the City of Rolla Fire & Rescue responded to a fire at Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity, located at Ninth Street and Bishop Avenue in Rolla, before 5 a.m. today (Tuesday, Feb. 22). Officials believe the fire was caused by combustion associated with cleaning chemicals on some towels.

S&T to host COVID-19 clinic Thursday

In partnership with Phelps Health, Missouri S&T will host a walk-in Pfizer vaccine clinic noon-2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 24, in the Missouri-Ozark Room of the Havener Center. Individuals may get their first or second dose or a booster shot. If you have been vaccinated, bring your current vaccination record with you.
