The Center for Advancing Faculty Excellence (CAFE) will host a faculty forum noon-1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 5, in Room 202 of the Curtis Laws Wilson Library. This panel presentation, titled “Effective Graduate Student Advising,” will help faculty think about how to be a helpful, supportive and empowering graduate student advisor.
The panelists are seasoned graduate student advisors who are eager to share resources, ideas and experiences.
Register online by noon Tuesday, Oct. 4. Lunch and beverages will be provided.
CAFE’s Faculty Forums are held bi-weekly throughout the fall semester noon-1 p.m. Wednesdays in Room 202 of the Curtis Laws Wilson Library. All faculty are welcome to attend.
