Dr. Fateme Rezaei, assistant professor of chemical and biochemical engineering at Missouri S&T, will give a lecture titled “Adsorption of Carbon Dioxide over Supported Amine Adsorbents in the Presence of Sulfur Oxide and Nitrogen Oxide Impurities,” at 3:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 17, in Room 124 Butler-Carlton Civil Engineering Hall. Dr. William E. Horst will present the sixth annual Dr. Thomas J. O’Keefe Lecture at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 16, in the Planje Auditorium, Room 204 McNutt Hall. Statistician to give two guest lectures

Dr. Li-Xing Zhu, structural chair professor and head of mathematics at Hong Kong Baptist University, will visit campus and give two lectures on dimension reduction and variable selection methods. Story to speak on nature at The Centre

Dr. Greg Story, associate professor of physics, will present a free lecture to the general public at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 16, in Meeting Room A of The Centre, 1200 Holloway, Rolla. His talk, titled “The Four Forces of Nature,” will describe how the four known forces of nature shape everything we see in the universe, from the smallest to largest scale.
